This year isn't really at all what I was expecting. And I don't know. I don't think I'm very happy about it. The only good thing was finally making first string on the quidditch team, but everything else is such a headache. And all I do is homework and prefect rounds. I have no social life. I thought it'd be different. I reckon it's cool cause mum and dad are proud of me but I just thought this year was going to be spectacular somehow and so far, it really isn't.

I talked to Tyler and he finally told me who did that to him. It was Peter Urquhart, which isn't really surprising. He's just the sort that would do something like that. And I was serious when I said that when I found out that I'd do something about it. Except I'm not going to go up to him or anything. He could probably do something similar to me. And plus, I'm not sure that I want him to know it was me that found him out and told on him. So I wrote a note to Headmaster Ogden. I feel like that was the best thing. He shouldn't get away with what he did. [/end hex]
Merlin! I'm still really excited and proud about making the quidditch team. The actual team and not reserve! This year is going to be so fantastic. I can tell it.

I can't even believe what happened to Tyler. I would never ever ever think that anyone here would ever do something like that. I just... I don't know... I don't even know what to say. I'm glad it wasn't me! What a cruel, stupid, pointless thing to do to someone. You know, it's not like we made the rules or anything we just have to help enforce them. But you know, it just keeps getting more and more obvious that we need them. And the only reason why we keep getting more and more put on us is because people keep doing stuff like this. So just stop! Seriously. It's so frustrating. And it's unfair that they took it out on Tyler or any of us prefects, really. Seriously, when I talk to Tyler and find out who did it, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure they get in so much trouble! People shouldn't get away with stuff like this. It's just not right.
